Djangos, Akasaka

This small neighbourhood spot ‘Djangos’ located in between Tokyo Midtown and Akasaka severs good, Californian style cuisine and reasonably priced New World wines.

Their menu/food is hard to categorise. I think its easiest to call it ‘international’ – a mixture of Japanese, Italian and Californian. The great thing about this restaurant is they have a fixed menu as well as daily specials. Food is consistently delicious and service is excellent.

Personally, I love their Bolognese pasta – I think its the best Bolognese so far I’ve had in Tokyo.

Their most popular dish is – Three color ‘Californian salad’ made with crab, avocado, grape fruit, and mini orange caviar.

Another favourite dish of mine is – Grilled Chicken with vegetables, mashed potatoes and JalapeƱo sauce.

For dessert – I recommend their homemade Cheese cake. Its rich and creamy and spectacular – I promise!!!

Budget – Around 5000 – 7000 yen per person.

Address: – 6 Chome – 17-7 Akasaka, Minato, Tokyo 107-0052
