Ristorante HONDA is a one-Michelin-starred Italian restaurant in Kita-Aoyama. HONDA is a quite small restaurant that can serve 25 diners at a time.
A classic Italian restaurant operated by chef Tetsuya Honda,into which he incorporates the Japanese speciality for seasonal ingredients.
He earned his stripes in Italy and France and honed his skills at Nishi-Azabu’s Al Porto before opening his own joint. Honda’s signature dish is tagliolini with Hokkaido sea urchin: the handmade noodles are combined with a velvety sauce made with generous amounts of additive-free sea urchin shipped directly from the cold north.
We enjoyed the chef’s special course (11000¥).

Every dish on the course menu was beautifully presented, bursting with intensity and full of innovative flavorful combinations.
The highlight was definitely the pear smoothie with muscat and grappa 😍

Amazing wine list. The waiter/sommelier was able to explain the details of menu and wine in an efficient and professional manner.
